ABOUT ME!
I’m Tony Parsons the Student Ministries Pastor at North Branch Wesleyan Church. I attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University. I played bass guitar in a Christian rock band named “Rain on the Land” for five years. We had the privilege of making 3 albums. I met my wife Jillynn while at school and playing music. We were married in April of 2000. We have 2 children, Jaykob who is 2 and Addlyn who is 7 months. Before moving to North Branch, I was on staff in Flint for four years. I grew up in two places, first Columbus Ohio till I was 13 years old. I then moved with my family to Kokomo Indiana where I lived till I went to college.
MY PERSONAL INTERESTS
I enjoy playing the guitar, basketball, or any other sport, and snowboarding. I also love to spend time with my family. Jillynn and I also like to just hang out with teens, play video games (halo), watch dumb movies, play games, or whatever. I love to watch the Ohio State Buckeye’s play football and if you ever walk into my office you see that Star Wars plays a huge part of my decorating.
MY PURPOSE IN LIFE AND MINISTRY
My purpose in life is to first serve my Lord and Savior with everything that I have, to love and serve my family as a spiritual leader, to be a good and faithful husband and father.
My purpose in ministry is to show teens that there is someone out there worth living for, to instill in them a passion for Christ, and to bring them into a closer relationship with Him.
